Tierra has always expressed a passion for beauty and a flair for creativity. In 2005, Tierra graduated from South High School in Cleveland, OH with a certificate in Cosmetology. However, Tierra didn't stop there in perfecting her craft. In 2007 she received her Manager's license as well as an Instructor's license.

Compelled to do her part, Tierra became the youngest advisory board chairperson for South High School's Cosmetology department. Soon after, Tierra became an independent contractor inside of various booth rental salons and like many other stylist she found herself very displeased with this business model. So at the early age of 21 Tierra opened the doors of her very first salon, Exccentrix. Tierra began mentoring rising cosmetologists through the Exccentrix Internship Program and always went out of her way to provide the best opportunities for her operators. In 2009, Tierra held dual positions as owner and instructor when she was presented with the opportunity to instruct at The Salon of Remington College.

Tierra's mission is to encourage integrity and professionalism while educating and inspiring those who seek growth and excellence. With over 10 years of cosmetology experience, Tierra has become an advocate and trailblazer within the beauty industry.

Tierra Banks is currently an Independent Distributor for Decca Plus Products. She is also co-founder of Bailey Chanel Beauty™ which sole purpose is to provide adequate resources to help technicians continue to grow towards success.

Tierra is also a loving wife to her husband Daniel Banks Jr. and proud mother of two, Peyton and Dawson.
